Mohamed Salah gives conditions to sign new Liverpool contract
Liverpool winger, Mohamed Salah, wants assurances about the Premier League club’s plans for the coming years before he signs a new deal.
According to Sky Sports, financial terms are not the only issue holding the 29-year-old back from extending his deal with the Reds.
While Salah indeed wants more money, he also wants to ensure he will play for a club that challenges for major honours.
The Egypt international wants to know that Liverpool will bring in the best players to build a team that will compete for league titles and Champions Leagues.
Salah has publicly stated his desire to stay at Liverpool, telling MBC Masr TV:
“I said it several times, if the decision is up to me, I want to stay in Liverpool.
“But the decision is in the hands of the management and they have to solve this issue.
