Manchester United striker informs club he wants to leave in January
Without much doubts, Manchester United football club will be looking forward to winning some more trophies this season under new interim manager Ralf Rangnick.
The Old Trafford side added some players during the summer as they look to rival the likes of Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea for the Premier League trophy this season.
However, that is not quite working out well for Manchester United so far this season as they are currently occupying the 6th position on the Premier League table after playing 15 league matches.
And now, Manchester United could be rocked with reports that experienced centre-forward Anthony Martial could be on his way out of the club when the transfer window opens.
The 26-year-old France International, who joined Manchester United from Ligue 1 side AS Monaco in 2015 has been in and out of the first-team squad over the previous seasons.
The experienced striker was quite involved for Manchester United during the 2020/2021 season where he scored seven goals and created nine assists in 36 appearances in all competitions.
Anthony Martial has however struggled to rediscover his best form for Manchester United so far this season and has only scored one goal in the 10 appearances he has made in all competitions.
¹
Despite that, Anthony Martial feels he has seen enough at Manchester United and according to reports from Daily Mail, he is keen on leaving the Old Trafford side next year.
The reports further claimed that Anthony Martial is keen on quiting Manchester United and has told the club of his intentions to leave when the transfer window opens in January.
That said, it remains to be seen if Manchester United will be interested in offloading Anthony Martial in January as they view him as an important member of their team.
