Boris Johnson says Putin has ‘chosen path of bloodshed’ and UK will respond ‘decisively’
Russian President Vladimir Putin has “chosen a path of bloodshed and destruction” with his attack on Ukraine, Boris Johnson has said.
The Prime Minister said he was “appalled by the horrific events” in Ukraine and that he had spoken to its president Volodymyr Zelenskyy to discuss “next steps”.
In a tweet, he added: “President Putin has chosen a path of bloodshed and destruction by launching this unprovoked attack on Ukraine.
“The UK and our allies will respond decisively.”
