Ebubeagu commander shot dead
Magnus Iganda, a commander of the Ebubeagu in Ezza North Local Government Area of Ebonyi has been shot dead.
The unidentified gunmen invaded his house on Wednesday morning and shot him dead.
The Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ezza North Local Government Area, Mr. Emeka Nwonu, who is also a resident of the area, confirmed the incident in a statement on Thursday.
He described the killing as shocking and barbaric, calling on security agencies in the State to fish out his killers.
“We wonder why some individuals take delight in the termination of lives of fellow humans instead of being the keepers of those fellows as instructed by the scriptures to be our brothers’ keepers,” he said.
The command’s Police Public Relations Officer, Loveth Odah confirmed that there was violence in the Local Government on Wednesday.
