A former Oyo State senator, Teslim Folarin, was also among the visitors.

A source said, “The senators were more than five, but those are the names I can confirm. They got to the EFCC office around 8pm. They gave Obanikoro, Abati, Fani-Kayode and Muhammed the assurances of their support. The senators said they were happy to find the four men in high spirits. It was more of a solidarity visit.”
