Presidency 2023: Tambuwal lures PDP delegates in Niger

Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State, a presidential aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), on Tuesday approached PDP delegates in Niger State soliciting their support for his aspiration for the 2023 presidential ticket of the party.

Tambuwal promised to ensure that all the 774 local government areas in Nigeria are inclusive in his administration if he becomes the president in 2023.

The governor asserted he has the requisite experience and qualities of a unifier to govern Nigeria. He said that his record in the House of Representatives as speaker, testifies to the fact that he has the capacity to bring Nigerians together for national development.

Tambuwal noted that Nigeria has been divided along ethnic and religious lines, he appealed to the electorates to vote for someone that has the confidence and technical know-how, including the tenacity of purpose to move the country to a greater height.

The Sokoto governor stated that the commissioning of the Baro Port by President Muhammadu Buhari was dubious, adding: “Buhari played you 419.”

The PDP State Chairman in Niger, Tanko Beji, said that Niger delegates will consider presidential aspirants who visited them in Minna as a mark of respect at national convention for the election of presidential candidate in Abuja.
