Reaction as Adeyanju furiously reacts to the price of bread
The rate at which the price of goods in the market is going higher each day has got a lot of people complaining. Bread is one of the most common food that anybody can buy at any time to satisfy their hunger but the price of bread in the market today has got average Nigerian thinking.
Recently, a well-known human rights activist, lawyer, and the convener of the concerned Nigerian program, Comrade Deji Adeyanju has just taken to his official Twitter page to react as the price of bread keeps increasing daily.
According to Deji Adeyanju, he said the price of bread before General Muhammadu Buhari becomes the President was N200 and people could afford it then. However, he said, the same size and quality are now being sold for about a thousand naira.
Just yesterday, it was reported that bread producers and bakers will begin a warning strike over the unbearable cost of raw materials. It was gathered that the strike will last for four days and it will begin on the 21st of July 2022.
This simply means, the consumers are not the only ones affected, the producers and other bakers are at the receiving end too.
Deji Adeyanju’s tweet has generated a lot of reactions from many social media users, see what a few of them said;
