Peter Obi slam Tinubu
Ahead of 2023 general, Peter Obi has replied Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu over his caution statements.
There seems to be a battle of words between the presidential aspirants of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and Labour Party, LP.
The former Governor of Lagos State who served for two terms had on Wednesday through his campaign spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga issued a warning to the flag bearer of Labour Party, telling Peter Obi to call his followers and supporters to order.
He told Peter Obi to allow the 2023 general polls to pass through a phase that will advance the growth, progress, and stability of the country.
Furthermore, he told Obi to tell his supporters to quit the spread of lies, malice and insulting other presidential candidates.
Peter Obi has reacted to the above warnings through his Media Adviser, Valentine Obienyem by telling Tinubu that it is his supporters that created fake accounts under the guise of Obi’s supporters.
Obi through Obienyem also told Tinubu that if the supporters take cognizance of these acts, many articles which have been published in many media platforms would not have been published, even denigrating ones.
Furthermore, in his own words, he said, “Nigerians know the truth and that such gimmicks used to deceive them would no longer work”.
