How my husband bite my eye after I stopped him from beating our daughter with a machete — Mom-of-five
A middle-aged woman, Onyinyechi Ozokolo, has narrated how her husband, Ndubueze Ozokolo, nearly damaged one of her eyes during a brawl.
The mother of five, who spoke with newsmen in Enugu, said her husband attacked her after she tried to stop him from beating their 13-year-old daughter with a machete, on August 19, 2022
The couple hails from Ezeagu LGA of Enugu State but resides at Coal Camp, Enugu North Council area
According to her, “He was beating our daughter with a machete and I tried to stop him from causing grievous harm to the girl. He then turned towards me, held me and bite my left eye
We have been married for 13 years now and my husband has constantly beaten me at every slightest provocation and minor issue within the period.”
However, the husband denied the allegation. According to him, they were fighting and his wife brought a stone to hit him but the stone fell on her eyes
