Peter Obi promises zero-tolerance for corruption, engages diaspora Nigerians in Toronto
The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 general elections, Peter Obi, engaging Nigerians resident in Canada at a town hall meeting in Toronto, before moving to the United States, declared that the LP government has zero-tolerance for corruption in Nigeria.
He said that Nigerians in Diaspora have the capacity to determine who leads Nigeria, and, therefore, must have a commensurate voice. He promised that the Nigeria Diaspora should be able to vote in the 2027 general elections.

“We will have zero tolerance for corruption and will cut the cost of governance.
“Total commitment to transparency and accountability in government business is the only credible way to achieve limited to zero corruption. -PO
“The Nigeria Diaspora has the capacity, and therefore, must have a commensurate voice. “By the 2027 elections, Nigeria Diaspora must have a voice via absentee ballots.” -PO
