Massacre, surrender as flood pushes Boko Haram terrorists into kill zones in Borno
Even Boko Haram terrorists are wallowing in the cesspool of floods that have ravaged communities in more than 10 states, killing over 300 people across Nigeria in recent times.
The Yedzaram river around the domain of the terrorists at Sheuri, Kumshe, and Gaiuwa has over-run its banks and the surrounding terrorists camps in Borno.
Hundreds of the fighters and their families have since been displaced, in further danger of the federal troops whose renewed onslaught seems to be scoring deadly points around the northeast and the northwest.
Many of them escaping the NAF bombardment drowned I a river last week in an ir raid in Baga, Borno, while close to 200, including commanders, died.
One of the top leaders, Goni Farooq, surrendered to the federal troops at Banki, Bama, on the weekend.
He handed over a motorcycle, RPG, Anti- Aircraft gun, AK47, 5 magazines with live ammunition, solar panels and clothes among others.
There are reports the terrorists are now hungry, exposed, defenceless as they move from place to place around the Sambisa—to dodge the climate disaster.
