EPL: Guardiola celebrates as Man City defeat Wolves, return to top
It was a moment of celebration for the manager of Manchester City after the team defeated Wolves on Saturday. Guardiola, stated after the match: “The game started really well for us with the two goals and the red card. After the Champions League to come here at 12:30 with the quality they have, it was an incredible victory.”
He expressed ‘this week, the “exceptional” Haaland was the “perfect” person to manage because his personality ensured he always remains hungry to improve’.
Manchester City on Saturday overpowered 10-man Wolves to record 3-0 victory which returned the club to the top of the English Premier League table.
Jack Grealish scored the opening goal for Man City within the first minute of the first half. Haaland scored the second goal, while Phil Foden made it three for Man City to maintain unbeaten record in the current EPL season.
Man. City have two points ahead of Arsenal, which would bounce to the top if they defeat Brentford on Sunday.
