Atiku meets officials of US Institute of Peace, seeks support for democracy in Nigeria
The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, on Wednesday, met with officials of the United States Institute of Peace, where, according to him, they deliberated on how to stabilize the gains of democracy in Nigeria.
Atiku in a tweet on his official handle Atiku Abubakar @atiku wrote: “My team and I had a productive interaction at the United States Institute of Peace, yesterday, where we expressed our commitment to collaborate with local and international partners who share our goal of stabilising our democratic gains.”
