Terrorists are evil, we’ll defeat them, says Tinubu
The All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Candidate, Bola Tinubu, on Monday pledged to confront terrorists and other criminals with determination, courage and perseverance, if elected.
Tunubu who made the pledge in Katsina at his campaign rally, sympathised with victims of the recent terrorists attack in the state, which claimed 41 vigilantes.
“We will promise one thing and many more, that killers will not win, the wicked shall perish.
“We will definitely deal with them, no way they will go free whether they derive some moment of joy or satisfaction.
“We are saying that, we are bold, courageous and believe in Allah, we are strong and better than what they are.
“They are evil, we will defeat them, we will eliminate them, the time is coming.
“And we promise you that the children and widows of those who were killed will be cartered for.
“Our men and women in uniforms who sacrifice their lives with their efforts in saving people’s lives, will not be forgotten, if we win the election.
“This is your government and this government will definitely continue to pursue crimes with determination, courage and perseverance,” he said.
Tunubu said that the Federal Government has made tremendous effort to ensure peace and progress of the country.
“President Muhammadu Buhari doesn’t want harm or danger for anybody.
“He wants protection, peace and we will definitely work with him to show that this part of Africa is progressive and that our party is a progressive party,” he said.
Earlier, the APC National Chairman, Sen. Abdullahi Adamu, commiserated with victims of the terrorists attack and urged Nigerians to continue to pray for an end to such killings.
Adamu also urged people of the state to come out en masse and vote for all APC candidates in the forthcoming general election.
