LASBCA begins demolition of illegal buildings on Banana Island
The Lagos State Building Control Agency on Wednesday began the demolition of illegal buildings on the Banana Island area of Lagos State.
National Daily reports that LAGOS State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu ordered the demolition of three two-storey buildings on Banana Island following the collapse of a seven-storey building in the area.
The agency made this known in a post shared on its Twitter handle on Wednesday and wrote, “Banana Island: LASBCA Begins Removal of Illegal Structures.”
