Defence Headquarters appoints new Media Director

The Chief of Army Staff, Major General Taoreed Abiodun Lagbaja, on Monday appointed Major General E S Buba Director of Defence Media Operations of the Defence Headquarters, Abuja.
The Defence Headquarters disclosed that Major General E S Buba was the Director of Foreign Liaison, Defence Intelligence Agency.
According to the Defence headquarters, the Directorate, Defence Media Operations, is coordinating joint information management on peacekeeping and other combat operations of the Nigerian troops as well as disseminating information on Armed Forces of Nigeria and other security agencies during special operations.
The Defence Headquarters noted that redeployment in the Nigerian Army is routine, particularly, with the recent retirement of some senior officers as a result of the appointment of the new military leadership. According to the military authorities, the redeployment take effect from 3 July 2023.
