Senate postpones presentation of Tinubu’s ministerial list to Wednesday
The Nigerian Senate has postponed the presentation of President Bola Tinubu’s ministerial list formerly scheduled for today until Wednesday, July 26, 2023.
According to reports, it was pushed back on the order paper.
Senator Bamidele Opeyemi, the majority leader, moved the motion to postpone the announcement without reason during the Senate plenary on Tuesday, July 25, 2023.

While Senator Simon Davou Mwadkwon, the minority leader, seconded the move to postpone the announcement until the next legislative session.
President Bola Tinubu submitted the ministerial list to the Senate last week, but the Senate purportedly postponed the announcement owing to modifications to the list.
The Clerk of the National Assembly, Magaji Tambuwal, received the letter containing the list on Tuesday, July 18.
Nigerians have speculated about the list, especially as the 60-day deadline for the President to send the list draws nearer.
