Naira Marley make u-turn on drug abuse, declares support for NDLEA
Popular Nigerian singer Naira Marley has renounced his earlier stance on drug abuse and declared his support for the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
Marley made the announcement during a visit to the NDLEA headquarters in Abuja on Wednesday. He met with the NDLEA chairman, Buba Marwa, and other officials.
“I am here today to renounce my earlier stance on drug abuse,” Marley said. “I have come to realize that drug abuse is a serious problem that can ruin lives. I am now committed to helping the NDLEA in its fight against drug abuse.”
Marley also said that he would be using his platform to educate young people about the dangers of drug abuse. He said that he would be working with the NDLEA to produce anti-drug awareness materials.
The NDLEA chairman welcomed Marley’s decision to renounce his earlier stance on drug abuse. He said that Marley’s support would be a valuable asset in the fight against drug abuse.

“We are glad that Naira Marley has seen the light and has decided to join us in the fight against drug abuse,” Marwa said. “His support will be a major boost for our efforts.”
Marley’s decision to renounce his earlier stance on drug abuse is a positive step. It is important for celebrities to use their platforms to promote positive messages, and Marley’s decision to do so is a welcome one.
Marley is not the first celebrity to change their stance on drug abuse. In recent years, several celebrities have spoken out against drug abuse and have pledged to help educate young people about the dangers of drug use. These celebrities have played a valuable role in the fight against drug abuse, and Marley’s decision to join them is a positive development.
