Man arrested for defrauding POS operator
A man has been arrested for allegedly defrauding a POS operator of the sum of N100,000 in Kwale, Delta State.
The suspect, identified as Onyebuchi Remi Enusoi, was arrested on Thursday, August 24, 2023, by the police in Kwale.
According to the police, Enusoi went to the POS operator’s shop, posing as a customer who wanted to make a deposit of N100,000 into his account.

However, instead of making the deposit, Enusoi allegedly tricked the POS operator into transferring the money into his own account.
The POS operator realized that he had been defrauded after Enusoi left the shop. He reported the matter to the police, who launched an investigation.
The police were able to track down Enusoi and arrest him.
