Tragedy as Commissioner dies jogging with governor
A morning jogging exercise turned tragic on Wednesday at the Rwang Pam Stadium, Jos, Plateau state as the Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, Mr. Samuel Galadima, slumped and died while jogging with the state governor, Simon Lalong.
The Director of Press Affairs, Mr. Emmanuel Nanle, who confirmed the incident said, “Yes, the commissioner slumped while jogging and was rushed to the Plateau Specialist Hospital, where he died.”
National Daily gathered that the commissioner was gasping for breath by the time he arrived the hospital.
Nanle added that doctors on duty tried to resuscitate him but could not. “We have lost him,” he said.
As a result, both his ministry, family members as well as the state house are mourning the sudden death of the commissioner.
