Sales of FG Land: EFCC invites Tompolo

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has given former Niger Delta militant leader, Mr Government Ekpemupolo a.k.a Tompolo one week to appear before the Commission on Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, Lagos or risk being declared wanted.
In a letter from the Commission’s office in Lagos says the former militant was being investigated in an undisclosed deals involving sale of parcels of land worth over N13 billion belonging to the Federal government under the former President Goodluck Jonathan.
It was learnt that Tomopolo is expected to appear before EFCC on Thursday, 17 December, 2015. It was further gathered that in the past, similar invitation had been extended to the former militant warlord by the Head, Lagos Zone of the EFCC, Iliyasu Kwarbai but failed to honour the invitation.
