Kano Police issues traffic advisory ahead of Police Academy POP
The Kano State Police Command has issued a traffic advisory ahead of the Passing Out Parade (POP) of the 6th Regular Cadets at the Nigeria Police Academy in Wudil on Saturday, September 7, 2024.
The Kano State Police Command has issued a traffic advisory to motorists using the Kano-Wudil road in anticipation of the Passing Out Parade (POP) of the 6th Regular Cadets at the Nigeria Police Academy in Wudil.
The event, scheduled for Saturday, September 7, 2024, from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM, is expected to attract a significant number of dignitaries and spectators.
To ensure the smooth flow of traffic and the safety of road users, the police have urged motorists to exercise caution and patience during the period.
According to the State Commissioner, Salman Dogo Garba, the command will deploy personnel at key locations throughout the state to manage the anticipated increase in traffic.

Motorists are advised to avoid reckless driving, adhere to speed limits, and observe all traffic rules.
The force spokesperson, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, also suggested that motorists consider alternative routes during the event hours to avoid congestion.
