Burger King Nigeria opens 16th outlet at MMA2, teams up with Ibom Air

Burger King Nigeria has reached a new milestone by opening its 16th outlet at Muritala Muhammed Airport Terminal 2 (MMA2) in Lagos on August 30, 2024.

This marks the chain’s first venture into the airport market, aligning with its strategic growth plan to provide greater convenience for travelers and capitalize on the bustling airport sector.

Strategically located within one of Nigeria’s busiest airports, the MMA2 outlet aims to serve the high volume of travelers with a dining experience that combines Burger King’s global reputation for quality with a touch of local flavor. \

Rushdi Ibrahim, Managing Director and CEO of Allied Food Confectionery Services, the parent company of Burger King Nigeria, expressed enthusiasm for this new chapter in the brand’s expansion journey.

“Our growth has been remarkable, with 16 restaurants opened in just 33 months. We’re committed to bringing our brand to every corner of Nigeria,” he said.

To celebrate the launch and engage customers, Burger King Nigeria has teamed up with Ibom Air for a special promotion. Customers who spend 7,000 naira or more at the new MMA2 location can participate in a lucky dip, with a chance to win a domestic return ticket on Ibom Air.
