Borno Govt hands over 18 motorcycles to military in Damboa LGA
Borno State Government has handed over 18 motorcycles to the Nigerian military in Damboa Local Government Area to accelerate government’s commitment to combating insecurity in the state.
The Commissioner for Information and Internal Security, Prof. Usman Tar, represented by the Permanent Secretary, Modu Alhaji Mustapha, handed over the motorcycles to the military. He emphasised that Borno State government recognizes the importance of providing motor bikes capable of navigating hard -to-reach areas during military operations hence, the decision to make the donation.
Receiving the motorcycles, Brigadier General Rashid Sani Omolori, Commander of the 25 battalion command Damboa, expresses gratitude to Governor Babagana Umara Zulum for his unwavering support to the military.
