Tompolo Hails NNPCL’s New Leadership, Pledges Support for Oil Industry Reforms
The Chairman of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited (TSSNL), High Chief (Dr.) Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has congratulated the newly appointed management and board of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), describing their selection as a defining moment for Nigeria’s oil and gas industry.
In a statement, Tompolo praised President Bola Tinubu for appointing experienced professionals to lead NNPCL, including Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) Engr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari and Chairman Ahmadu Musa Kida. He emphasized that their leadership comes at a crucial time as Nigeria navigates its energy transition.

“Tantita Security Services recognizes this appointment as a pivotal moment for NNPCL and the oil and gas industry. The challenges are immense, but we are confident in the ability of the new leadership to drive the ongoing restructuring of NNPCL and surpass the target of ramping up local refining capacity and increasing crude oil production to 2 million barrels per day,” Tompolo stated.
Reaffirming Tantita’s dedication to protecting Nigeria’s oil assets, he pledged full support for NNPCL’s mandate, stressing that securing the nation’s energy resources is essential for economic growth.
“As always, Tantita stands ready to collaborate with the NNPCL to ensure Nigeria’s oil production capabilities are safeguarded and optimized for the benefit of all stakeholders,” he added.
Tompolo also urged the new board to remain focused, innovative, and diligent in fulfilling their responsibilities, expressing confidence that their leadership will bring significant progress and transformation to the Nigerian oil and gas sector.
