Jerry Gana convenes PDP Consultative Conference of Founding Fathers
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Wednesday held Consultative Conference of Founding Fathers convened by Prof. Jerry Gana, one of the founding members of the ailing party.
The conference is coming on the heels of mass exodus of foundation members from the PDP to other political parties, including the resignation of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, former Senate President David Mark, and others, who joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Attending the conference, former President of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, on Wednesday declared @bukolasaraki
“Just arrived at the Consultative Conference of Founding Fathers & Stakeholders of our great party, the @OfficialPDPNig, convened by Prof. Jerry Gana, CON.”
Prof. Gana had urged the PDP to zone the 2027 presidential ticket to the South in order to deflate the conflicts in the party.
