Ayeola emerges LASCOFED/CFN President
The Cooperative Federation of Nigeria (CFN) now has a new headship, as it elects Mr. Tajudeen Oriyomi Ayeola as the number one cooperator in the country.
Ayeola emerge as the new President Cooperative Federation of Nigeria in an elective Congress held at Abuja, thereby taken over the reign of power from his predecessor in office, Engineer Jubril Bala Abuja.
The new CFN boss is the incumbent President of the Lagos State Cooperative Federation (LASCOFED), the acclaimed largest Cooperative Federation in Nigeria with over 2million cooperators as members.
Ayeola noted that his main focus for CFN is to consolidate on the achievements of the outgoing executive.
“I have the passion to ensure reconciliation and unity of all the affiliates of CFN, cooperative identity through enhanced cooperative image, we will also see to the restructuring of organisational system of CFN, welfare of CFN affiliates will get much focus amongst other things to be considered.
The outgoing President Engineer Jubril Abuja also affirmed his believe in the ability of Ayeola to deliver the good to CFN at a recent visit to the LASCOFED’s secretariat in Lagos recently.
“CFN would surely witness a speedy turn around with Ayeola’s emergence owing to the evident indices here in Lagos, I have no doubt that he would make CFN proud and better than we left it”. He said.
Ayeola’s unparalleled attainment in the cooperative world did not however, go unnoticed as LASCOFED received an award as the ‘Federation of the year’, while the Lagos State Governor Akinwunmi Ambode bags the ‘CFN National Patron Award’.
