Pogba says, ‘I am not at Mbappe’s level’
Paul Pogba piled the praise on Kylian Mbappe after his two goals against Argentina, saying that he was far less talented.
Mbappe became the first teenager to score twice in a World Cup match since Pele in 1958.
On the day that Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo both exited the tournament, Mbappe stepped up.
Speaking after the game, Pogba – who was also magnificent – rejected comparisons between himself and Mbappe,
“Kylian has much more talent than I have,’ Pogba said to Goal.
“Do you see what he is doing at his age?
“No, I never had his talent.
“He has so much speed…though he’s a forward, he can’t be compared with me.”
