11 expected in Nigeria U21 Volleyball Nations Cup
Twelve nations have registered for the 2018 U21 Men’s African Nations Volleyball Championship in Nigeria,National Daily gathered.
The 17th edition of the U21 Championship will take place in Abuja from 10th to 20thSeptember, 2018.
Vice President Federation Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB), Amr El Wani host Nigeria, defending champion, Egypt and 9 times African champions, Tunisia have indicated interest to partake in the 10 days event,National Daily learnt
Other countries are; Congo, Chad, Burkina Faso, Rwanda, Guinea, Niger, Botswana, Cameroon and Morocco.
Amr El Wani who doubles as the President of Confederation of African Volleyball (CAVB) the arrival date of the championships is on the 10th of September, 2018, while Technical meeting holds on the 11th of September, 2018.
El Wani stated that the championship will hold for seven (7) days from 12th to 19thSeptember, 2018 and all the teams are expected to leave the country on the 20th of September, 2018.
The statement read, “This is to inform you that 12 countries have registered for the 2018 U21 Men’s African Nations Volleyball Championship in Nigeria”.
“We wish you and the federation all the best in the preparation and organization of the championship”.
