Kwara United ready for new season
Chairman of Kwara United FC, Prince Thompson Oladimeji has enjoined the club’s technical crew to prepare hard for the new NPFL season,National Daily learnt.
The 2018 NPFL season ended prematurely in which Lobi Stars emerged Champions due to the LMC’s quest to meet CAF deadline for the submission of clubs’ name.
The attention of all the NPFL clubs are now in the Aiteo Cup in which Kwara United will also participate this season.
Sir Oladimeji has now tasked the technical crew to bring in more players in the areas where they are needed.
He also charged coach Abubakar Balah to avoid sentiment in the recruitment process for United to soar next season in the Premier League.
While concluding his message, Sir Oladimeji thanked Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed for prompt release of funds for the team as he also gave encomium to the supporters and fans of Kwara United.
At the just concluded NPFL season, Kwara United finished 15th position on the standings
