Music Review: 2Baba’s Oyi is a perfect new year starter
In 2018, 2Baba showed us his unbelievable staying prowess in the Industry, He showed he is a living legend, unlike his mate D’Banj, 9ice and others.
He made this possible by dropping one of the best and biggest afropop songs of the year, Amaka where he featured DMW act, Peruzzi.
Now he came on board this fresh year with a new Well baked Afropop song dubbed “Oyi“.
On this one he featured his younger brother, HI-Idibia, “Oyi” is a mid-tempo banger that finds 2Baba pouring out perfect life advice for 2019.
However, On this jam “Oyi“, 2Baba dishes out a good advice to us all about striving so hard to do anything that makes us happy, and also do away of relationship that stress us.
A Brilliant advice to kick start a new year I must say, this alone is okay to be someone New Year Resolution, Kudos to 2Baba for this meaningful song, not the regular noise we listened throughout 2018. Soco! Soco!! Soco!!
Please Don’t come at me Wizkid Fans! I’m not feeling too well.
Just like the song, the video shows how great it is to surround yourself with positive energy and Good vibes at all time
I personally believed this song dubbed “Oyi” has already given 2Baba a perfect headstart in the music Industry for this new year, other artistes should try and meet up.
