2019 Polls: How Taraba voted
Former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has won the election conducted in Taraba state.
The state returning officer, Prof. Shehu Adamu, who announced the result, said 1,777, 105 persons registered for the election, of which 756,111 voters were accredited.
He said Atiku polled 374,743 votes to defeat President Muhammadu Buhari, who polled 324,906 votes.
Adamu also added that there were 712,877 valid votes out of the 741,564 number of votes cast and 28,687 votes were rejected.
