Real Madrid won’t be giving away any players- sources
Rumours continue to surround Real Madrid and their playing staff as the club continue to ensure their participation in next season’s Champions League. The latest of those is that Raphael Varane is considering a change of environment, but it won’t be the last. There are players at the club who have won it all already, and many of the squad will be wanted by other clubs. But even if they themselves are lacking the motivation to stay at the elite level, the club aren’t willing to part ways with the talent they have.
Madrid’s leaders are clear – they’re not going to give away players, nor are they interested in listening to offers. Florentino Perez, Jose Angel Sanches and Zinedine Zidane will speak to their players before deciding what is the best way forward for the club, but as things stand they are not giving in to anyone’s demands. They are aware that the summer will be long. Madrid will make moves and clubs will try to take players from the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu, while others will try to milk Los Blancos for as much money as they can.
If the club are going to sign for 50 million euros, they won’t be letting players leave for 25 million. Despite the poor season, the club still believe the players’ values are higher than they have shown.Varane’s name currently tops that list, then comes Gareth Bale, Isco and Karim Benzema and the rest. The players are still highly valued on the market and the club are estimating that with three or four departures they could have almost 200 million euros to reinvest.
Zidane knows the value of his squad. He wants all of his players to feel like they are important and he will use a lot of his 23 players before the season ends. There has been talk of the coach having full power, but he had a big say in his precious spell at the club as well, but he insisted on leaving things as they were.
