Venezuela: US urges Maduro to tread carefully
US Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, has called on Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro to allow aid to enter the country.
Pompeo urged Venezuelan Maduro to “change your ways” .
Hus warning came after visiting a migrant center in Cucuta, a Colombian border town.
Some 3.4 million Venezuelans have fled hyperinflation, food and medicine shortages and a political crisis in their homeland.
Countries have been aligning with the US and Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaido while others are also sympathetic to Maduro, prominent among them are Russia and Cuba.
Pompeo on the weekens sent warning to the two allies, too.
