Amaechi remains our biggest export, Ngofa, Giadom

Former Nigeria’s Ambassador to The Netherlands, Ambassador Oji Ngofa and former Acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Victor Giadom, have described the Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi was the biggest export in Nigeria because of his detribalized nature.

The duo who spoke at the palace of Emir of Daura, Katsina State, during the turbanning of Amaechi as Dan Amanar Daura (The Trusted One of Daura by the Daura Emirates Council, said Amaechi is a man who believes that Nigeria is a single unit.

Ngofa said: “This is indeed significant in the sense that the Amaechi we know in Rivers State on the account of his superlative performance as governor of Rivers State and Speaker of all Speakers, I feel elated that the Amaechi we know of is getting recognition in Nigeria.

“As Minister of Transportation, he had practically transformed the rail sector and the maritime sector under his ministry. The Amaechi we know as Nigerians are beginning to know who he is as a hardworking transformative leader who is detribalised and committed to the good of everybody. He is a transparent, honest and committed person to whatever he wants to achieve.

“To me, I am excited because the whole of Nigeria, especially the Emirate of Daura has seen the Amaechi that we know. He is our biggest political export in Nigeria and I am happy that he is getting this recognition in a very special way.”

On his part, Giadom stated that the turbanning of Amaechi by the Daura Emirates Council was very important to Nigerians as it will promote the diversity and unity of the country.

He said: “The event is very important to all Nigerians because it promotes the diversity and unity of this country. You can see that the turbanning of Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi is a clear manifestation that Nigerians, whether from South of the North, can work together and stay together and we can harness our diversity into unity and strength.

Amaechi is a detribalised Nigeria. He is a man who believes that Nigeria is a single unit.
