Arewa responds to Obasanjo’s hard tackle against Buhari

Following former President Oulsegun Obasanjo’s open letter to President Muhammadu Buhari, the Arewa Consultative Forum said on Tuesday the former president has his (Obasanjo’s) democratic rights to talk.

Obasanjo has specifically advise Buhari to have an honourable dismount from the horse in 2019, describing governors and other groups endorsing him for a second term as selff-serving.

But it was President Buhari’s prerogative and that of his party to decide whether to re-contest or not, said ACF’s National Publicity Secretary, Muhammadu Biu.

The ACF has equally objected to Buhari contesting again, in spite of the barrage of endorsement he is getting from governors in the north.
