Bandits hit Kaduna again, invade estate in Zaria
Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State and the state officials are still running around on the attack of Abuja-Kaduna train on Monday and another on Tuesday, where some passengers were killed, injured or kidnapped, bandits on Wednesday hit Kaduna again, invading a low-cost housing estate in Zaria, Zaria Local Government Area. the bandits damaged homes of residents, shooting at sight, and kidnapped some residents.
The bandits were said to have invaded the community at about 10.00pm on Wednesday. Some residents were said to have admitted that “there was heavy attack in Low-Cost area at about 10.00pm.” they could, however, not give details of casualties.
Bandits may be overrunning Kaduna State with frequent military operations. They struck at the Kaduna International Airport last Saturday before the Monday and Tuesday attacks on the Abuja-Kaduna rail line.
