Bandits invade Palace in Abuja, kidnap traditional ruler, three palace residents
Bandits invaded a community in Abuja, kidnapped the traditional ruler of Bukpe community, Alhaji Hassan Shamidozhi, and three other persons from the palace. The Head of Information and Protocol at the Kwali Area Council Secretariat, Emmanuel Habila, was said to have confirmed the invasion of the palace by bandits in the FCT.
The bandits were said to have kidnapped the traditional ruler of the community in Kwali, the Federal Capital Territory, and others on Wednesday evening.
The Head of Information and Protocol at the Kwali Area Council Secretariat, Emmanuel Habila, had disclosed that the police and the Department of State Service (DSS) operatives are on the manhunt of the bandits.
Bandits have been hit hard on Kaduna in the past one week and are beginning to show signs that they are already in the FCT.
