Bandits kill 1, kidnap Emir’s son
Bandits in fresh attack in the early hours of Monday, killed one resident, kidnapped a son of the Emir, including 6 other residents, during invasion of the headquarters of Bungudu Local Government Area, Zamfara State.
The bandits were said to have invaded the community with deadly weapons, shooting sporadically as they made their way.
The son of the Emir of Bungudu, Abdulrahman Hassan, and the Former State Programme Officer of International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) Abubakar S/Fada Bungudu, were identified among the kidnapped residents.
The State Police Command was yet to make any official statement on the incident at the time of this report.
