Be resolute in serving God, cleric tells Nigerians
Pastor Olusola Adewumi of the Christ Apostolic Miracle Church, Ikole, Ekiti State, has urged Nigerians to be resolute in their service to God to achieve their heart desires in the New Year.
Adewumi, who stated this in his New Year message made available to reporters on Friday in Ikole Ekiti, said that commitment to the service of God would enhance spiritual growth and bring prosperity.
He said that great number of people always broke away from their New Year resolutions few days after making such resolutions.
He attributed the inability to adhere to New Year resolution to lack of commitment and indiscipline, urging Nigerians to be disciplined and move closer to God in 2016.
The cleric urged Nigerians to refrain from condemning the nation’s leaders and speaking evil of the country but to encourage their leaders in doing what would uplift the position of the country among comity of nations.
He appealed to those in positions of power to do more to embark on developmental projects that would alleviate the suffering of the masses.
Adewumi assured Nigerians that the economy of the country would improve miraculously in 2016 if its citizens served God and refrained from their sinful ways.
