Buhari announces running mate

The Presidency has announced the sidekick that will run among with President Muhammadu Buhari in the 2019 presidential election.

According to Buhari’s media aide Shehu Garba, Acting President Yemi Osinbajo will still remain the running mate.

The presidential spokesman also told State House correspondents the recorded by the APC in elections held in three states over the weekend indicated victory is certain for the Buhari/Osinbajo presidential ticket in 2019.

The southeast caucus of the APC had allegedly hoped the lot of the running mate would be theirs in 2019. And some of the region’s politicians had been positioning for the No. 2 office in Nigeria.
