The First Son Yusuf Buhari might not be as fit as the presidency made Nigerians believe yesterday, following his discharge from a private hospital in Abuja where he underwent series of surgery after a motorbike accident in December.
Yusuf was flown out of Nigeria through the Presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport early Saturday morning, Sahara Reporters stated.
He is being taken to St. Josef Hospital in Wiesbaden, Germany according to presidency sources that confirmed to the online news portal..
His sister Halima Buhari-Sherif and the official physician to the first lady, Kamal Mohammed, arrived Stuttgart earlier today on a Bombardier Challenger 600 Presidential jet with registration number 5N-FGZ.
Cedracrest Hospital where he was admitted issued an official statement yesterday, claiming Yusuf’s condition improved remarkably.
“He has remained stable ever since and has continued to make remarkable progress. He is now ready to be discharged,” the hospital authorities stated, claiming he received world-class early care at Cedarcrest, Abuja.
