Delta Force FC kicks off debut this week
Delta Force Football Club of Asaba this weekend will kick off its campaign in the elite Nigeria Professional League NPFL when the Asaba based outfit welcomes Go Round Football Club of Omoku to the Steven Keshi International Stadium, National Daily gathered.
The Delta Ambassadors who will be making its debut in the NPFL after taking over Kada City Football Club of Kaduna will be hoping to kickoff its campaign on a bright note especially as the team is seen as a force to reckon with in Nigerian football.
The match which will be played under floodlight on Sunday will kick off at 6pm with fans expected to have free access to the stadium as no gate fee has been stipulated by the management of the club.
According to the Chief Executive Officer Mr Emmanuel Chidi Okonkwo the decision to throw the gates open is aimed at encouraging fans to come out and cheer the team to victory against the visiting team from Rivers State. Delta Force are currently placed fifth on the log.
