Did Jonathan just defect?
Former President Goodluck Jonathan has not announced his defection to the APC, but a northern group has picked up the N100-million nomination and interest forms for him.
The group, Miyetti Allah, bought the forms on his behalf Monday at the International Conference Centre (ICC) in Abuja.
Jonathan has showed interest in cross-carpeting from the PDP to the ruling APC in order to be handed the party’s ticket on a platter.
Whenhe eventually defects, he wil be joining 17 aspirants who already ought the forms, among over 30 aspirants that have directly or indirectly signified interest.
Among them are the PAC stalwarts like Bola Tinubu, and former associates of Jonathan like AfDB President Akinwunmi Adeshina. Who was agric minister for Jonathan during his first term as president.
