Disquiets over Buhari’s absence from FEC meeting a third time
There is rising disquiet across the country as President Muhammadu Buhari was absent from the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting this Wednesday. This is the third time the President has failed to attend the FEC meeting in sequence.
Perhaps, the disquiet may be unnecessary since the President is known to have health challenges which compelled him to go on medical vacation to the UK recently.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, had this Wednesday said that the President Buhari can from now operate from home. Mohammed, while briefing State House Correspondence at the end of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting this Wednesday, said that the President needed some rest and has asked that all the files on his table be brought to him at his official residence at the Presidential Villa, Abuja for treatment.
President Buhari was said to have delegated Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to function in his place.
The situation is generating unnecessary conjectures about the President’s current health status even when his health history is widely known.
