Drunk’ soldier arrested for killing Nigerian Army General
A Corporal in the Nigerian Army, Abayomi Ebun, has been arrested for crushing Brigadier-General Audu Ogbole James to death in Oshodi, Lagos.
The deceased, who was the Director of Finance at the Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Centre (NAFRC), d#ed after the suspect h#t him with his car on Tuesday night, November 15.
National Daily reports that the deceased was walking to his residence inside the NAFRC barracks when the corporal driving an SUV with number plate EKY 177 FX, hit him.
Edun was said to be under alcoholic influence at the time of the accident.
It was gathered that the deceased was rushed to the NAFRC Medical Centre where a doctor certified him dead.
