Drunken, night-crawling husband falls over baby, stabbed to death by wife, 20

Caroline Barka, a 20-year-old housewife, has stabbed her 38-year-old husband to death at Angwan, Madagali LGA, Adamawa.

The state police command eventually arrested the  woman.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Nguroje,  Commissioner of Police Sikiru Akande has ordered  clinical investigations into the incident for proper prosecution/

The wife got into a fight with her husband over his night crawling, the last being the one that provoked the mortal quarrel. But her annoyance might have been about the drunken husband falling over their one-year-old baby.

She got a kitchen knife and stabbed the husband of two years  to death.

She further told authorities during investigations that she had been “angered by his drunkenness, habitual late night outings and failure to provide basic necessity as a husband”.

The suspect was arrested following a report filed by a relative of the deceased at the police station.

Last week, a Osun wife set her husband on fire after going through his mobile phone to discover he had another woman.
