Father rapes daughter’s friend first under threat, then relationship takes new twist
Jumoke (not real name) went to see her friend, the daughter of Jacob Joel.
She was 11, and Joel was 42.
A girl wouldn’t have imagined her friend’s dad could have a crush on her, to say the least.
But Joel, who was home alone that day, did. And did much more. With violence. Over and over.
According to the Jos police command’s prosecutor told the court Joel dragged Jumoke into his room the first day, threatened to stab herFile , and then raped her.
L.P Fombot, the prosecutor, stated further Joel continued to threaten the girl, and raped her repeatedly.
According to the prosecutor, the game was over the day he had room at home, and took Jumoke to a bush. Her teacher then saw them, and called the police.
During police interrogation, Joel said ‘the devil tempted him’.
In court, Justice S.P Gang, in his ruling, ordered that the defendant be remanded in prison until Dec. 7, for hearing.
