FIFA reacts after Carlo Ancelotti made history as 1st manager to win league title in Europe top five

World football governing body popularly known as FIFA has reacted following the record setting of Italian manager, Carlo Ancelotti who led Real Madrid to a 35th record title winning yesterday in their 34th league game of the season against Espanyol at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.

Real Madrid in the game ran riot with a convincing four goals to nil victory over the visitor which placed them on a right track as a boost going into the second leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-finals ties, against Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City team on Wednesday.

A brace from Rodrygo gave the Whites a double lead going into the half time break before Marco Asensio got the lead extended and after which Karim Benzema stepped up by getting on the score sheet to wrap up the win, as it ended four goals to nil at full time.

This was Carlo Ancelotti’s first ever Spanish La Liga Santander title in his second spell at the club which made him to complete winning every possible trophy as a Real Madrid manager, and as such made him the first manager ever in history to have won every league titles in Europe’s top five leagues.

He has done this earlier in England with Chelsea, France with Paris Saint Germain, Germany with Bayern Munich, Italy with AC Milan before his first in Spain to complete the trend.

Consequent to this, FIFA with a post via their verified Twitter handle reacted with the caption:

“European club football? Carlo Ancelotti’s completed it”.

Congratulations once again to Carlo Ancelotti and the entire Real Madrid team for the success made and the job well done.
