Gov Bello develops fresh fears as PDP reviews campaign timetable in Kogi
There are indicators that Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State may have developed fresh palpable fear over the decision of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to adjust its campaign timetable towards the November 16 governorship election in the state. The governor and his men were gathered to be working round the clock closely monitoring every step taken by the PDP in the final lap of campaign for the governorship poll.
It was gathered that Governor Bello us taken aback by the capacity of the PDP to carry out wide campaign in every nook and corner of Kogi State. the governor was also said to be perturbed about the confidence the PDP has developed in its electioneering campaign to the point of being bold to suspend campaign for two days at this crucial point of preparations.
The PDP in a statement by Kola Ologbondiyan, National Publicity Secretary, however, explained that its campaign in Kogi was suspended for two days to commiserate with the Director General of the Campaign Organisation, Hon. Tajudeen Yusuf, who lost his wife last Saturday.
The party indicated that the resumed campaign will now run from Wednesday 6th to Wednesday 13th November, 2019.
The rescheduled campaign timetable is as follows:-
* Wednesday, 6th November, 2019

* Thursday, 7th November, 2019
